About Our Farm
We are a family-owned and operated farm located on a very special 9 acres of Agriculture Land Reserve in the heart of upper Gibsons on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, BC. We are fortunate to have mature fertile pasture land dating back to one of the original families that settled here. Our family lives in the original 101 year-old farmhouse! Our mission is to grow fresh, organic, local produce and livestock for the benefit of our community. We also offer unique tours focused on food security education and organic food production. It is often commented that once you have tasted eggs from our free-range pasture hens it is very hard to go back to store bought eggs! Our hens are happy and healthy and produce a very high quality product on a daily basis throughout the year!

We raise Freedom Ranger chickens that have free-range access to our pastures. Freedom Rangers were developed in the early 1960s to meet the high standards of the French government’s Label Rouge program. This broiler is different from traditional layer or dual-purpose chickens in that it is incredibly efficient at converting feed to body mass.

We raise Lowline Angus cattle and Icelandic sheep that benefit from free access to our organic pasture land. Lowline Angus are well known for their superb marbling on grass pasture unlike other breeds that are almost always finished on GMO grain or corn which can often subdue the naturally rich flavour of beef. Similarly, our lamb meat produced is mild, delicious and organic.
